Bimal Auto Agency, an ISO 9001 certified company, is one of the largest Maruti-Suzuki dealership groups in the country. Bimal Auto started dealership operations in Guwahati in 1984 and further expanded operations to Bangalore in the year 2002.
With combined sales of 10129 new cars, at Guwahati & Bangalore, Bimal is among the top 12 dealerships for Maruti-Suzuki. The Bimal – Guwahati operations is managed by Mr. Bhagchand Sarawgi – the founder partner of the group. His son, Mr. Naveen Sarawgi, manages the dealership operations at Bangalore. The group turnover exceeded Rs. 450 crores in the year 2008-09 and employed over 1300 people.
Bimal – Guwahati dealership operations comprises of two new-car showrooms, a True-Value outlet, two service workshops and two accident-repair workshops. The Guwahati dealership has been the un-disputed #1 dealership for Maruti-Suzuki in North-East India since the last 25 years.
Bimal – Bangalore dealership operations comprises of three new car showrooms, one True-Value outlet, five service workshops, three accident-repair workshops and a Maruti-Driving School. Bimal - Bangalore has been rated “Platinum Category” by Maruti-Suzuki under the Balanced Scorecard Study for 2008-09, 2007-08 & 2006-07. It has also been the all-India #1 outlet for True Value certified car sales for the last 3 years. Another achievement has been that Bimal was Runner-up in the all-India “Dealership Employee Satisfaction Survey”.
